Registration helps us prepare enough boards, materials, and seating. Registered families will be prioritized. Walk-ins are accepted until capacity is reached. We're expecting a welcoming group of about 30–40 kids and parents.

Free Chess Class Open House
Bring your child to try a sample lesson, play a few games, meet Harrison, and see the classroom environment. Parents are welcome to stay. No chess experience is required.

Instructor
About Harrison
Harrison Mantla is an Edmonton-based chess player and youth chess instructor. He first learned chess as a child playing with his father, then became more serious about the game in high school, where he studied fundamentals, played regularly, and competed in Edmonton, Calgary, and Banff.
Harrison has also taught youth chess before, including a full summer class of 16 children.
